Drew Farris has over 20 years of experience helping companies negotiate change as their CIO, COO, Interim CIO, or Executive Consultant. With a significant focus on business process optimization through the deployment of appropriate technologies, Drew has led over 25 successful ERP projects in a variety of verticals including Manufacturing, Consumer Products, Retail, and Distribution. He has experience deploying many ERP platforms including Oracle, SAP, Lawson M3, Infor SyteLine (Cloudsuite), Sage X3, Epicor amongst others.
With a strong focus on driving and managing the human side of change within an organization, he is frequently instrumental in aiding at-risk projects reach a positive conclusion – pushing past the barriers to success and motivating a team to rise to the challenge.
As an interim CIO or Advisory Consultant, Drew has worked with several mid-market ($30M to $1B) organizations to re-invigorate and re-align their IT function. He leverages a strong background in strategic planning, systems assessment, business process reviews, contract negotiation, and human capital management to assess a business’s strategic IT requirements, determine how the existing IT structure and resources align to those requirements, and he provides a roadmap for bridging any identified divide.
Having significant experience with the pre-acquisition diligence and post-acquisition organizational harmonization, Drew has a considerable background working within the Private Equity portfolio space. He brings a deep understanding of the key drivers and urgencies behind the P/E model and arrives at an engagement ready to hit the ground running to identify opportunities to drive growth in Enterprise Value through the deployment of systemically created efficiencies, continuous improvement methodologies, and system harmonization.
Drew’s career includes senior executive roles at Nantucket Nectars, Navico, Iron Age Shoes, TriMark USA, Dynatect (Interim) as well as management or consulting roles at Oracle, Infor, and a number of confidential P/E portfolio companies. His projects take him around the country and in some cases the world and he frequently relocates for long term projects.
